Phiren’s Fall 2015 collection beautifully blends the historical elements deriving from Morrocan, Egyptian and other Middle Eastern influences with modern ones to create a collection that is as effortless as it is intricate. Phiren Creative Director Teresa Field’s vision is awe inspiring – and it truly represents the modern woman: strength balanced with femininity. The Fall Collection embraces the mystique, gilded elegance, bold geometric shapes and intricate patterns of the ancient civilizations in a bold yet modern, fashion forward way. The result? Sophisticated and polished looks that are the modern woman.
Given the task (pleasure, really) of bringing Field’s story to life through styling the Fall Collection’s photo shoot, I emphasized both the power and subtlety of Phiren’s designs through showcasing the pieces’ inherent versatility. It is this unique quality that enables the modern woman–the Phiren woman—to go day to night, looking chic, effortlessly sophisticated and elegant. Accordingly, I styled the models to reflect all facets of her lifestyle and styling needs: casual athleisure looks for running errands on the weekends or hanging with friends and family; business casual dress; out to dinner, cocktail and evening wear; classic styling for work or play; resort looks; and pairings to reflect every woman’s romantic, boho side.
This fall, Phiren’s signature couture design and aesthetic have expanded to include luxuriously crafted bottoms: a drapey black pant and a hand beaded skirt with which to pair its classic tunics and beaded tees – or any top for that matter. Phiren’s pieces and the collection as a whole solve every woman’s daily quandary of wanting to look put together and effortlessly chic in no time flat. As such, falling hard for this collection is as effortless as the collection itself – what is not to love about intricate beading, exquisite craftsmanship and luxurious and figure flattering fabrics in a universally flattering color palette?
I hope you love it as much as we do, and are equally inspired by Teresa’s creativity and vision. This fall, join me – and Fall for Phiren.
